F45 NYC
FAQs
Everything you need to know before your first class, your first trial, or your first HYROX race.
Getting started
What is F45 Training?
F45 is a 45-minute coached group functional fitness class that blends high-intensity interval training (HIIT), circuit training, and functional movement. Each class runs to a different programmed template — over 80 templates rotate across our schedule — so you rarely repeat the same workout twice.
Do I need to be in shape to start?
No. Every F45 movement has a scaled option, and coaches walk every member through a movement preview before the clock starts. We work with absolute beginners and 20-year athletes in the same class.
What's the best way to try F45 NYC?
Start with our $49 Unlimited Week trial — seven days of unlimited classes at any F45 NYC studio. Sign up via the studio of your choice on the Locations page.
How long is a class?
45 minutes from clock start to clock finish, plus a few minutes of movement preview at the top and a quick cooldown at the end.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just water, a towel, and training shoes. We supply all equipment — dumbbells, kettlebells, sleds, rowers, ski ergs, sandbags, wall balls, plyo boxes, and more.
HYROX at F45 NYC
Is F45 a HYROX training partner?
Yes. F45 Training is the Official Global HYROX Training Partner. The partnership was announced in May 2024 and runs across F45's worldwide studio network, including all five F45 NYC studios.
Where can I train for HYROX in NYC?
All five F45 NYC studios run F45 × HYROX programming. F45 Dumbo and F45 Midtown East additionally host a weekly Hyrox Open Gym with all eight HYROX race stations set up.
When is Hyrox Open Gym?
F45 Dumbo: Sundays 12:00–2:00 PM. F45 Midtown East: Sundays 1:00–3:00 PM. Drop in any time during the window. Members $20, non-members $30.
What are the 8 HYROX race stations?
SkiErg (1,000m), Sled Push (50m), Sled Pull (50m), Burpee Broad Jumps (80m), Rowing (1,000m), Farmer Carry (200m), Sandbag Lunges (100m), and Wall Balls (75/100 reps). Each station is preceded by a 1,000m run.
How do I sign up for the Hyrox Half event?
Visit our Hyrox Half event page for tickets and registration details. The Hyrox Half is an in-studio half-distance race event hosted at F45 Midtown East.
Trial, classes, and membership
Is the $49 Unlimited Week trial good at every studio?
Each trial is purchased through a specific studio, but trial members frequently visit other F45 NYC studios during the week. Talk to your home studio for cross-studio access details.
How do I book a class?
All bookings run through the F45 app or your studio's Mindbody schedule. Once you've started your trial or membership, classes can be reserved up to a week in advance.
Can I freeze or cancel my membership?
Yes. Membership freeze and cancellation policies are managed per studio — contact your home studio directly and the front desk will walk you through the options.
Do you offer student or corporate pricing?
Yes. F45 NYC partners with companies and teams across NYC on corporate group fitness. Visit our Corporate Partnerships page or email your studio for details.
